What a great surprise birthday party the church gave to the "80's ladies", Arlene, Delores and Nancy last Sunday. The surprise worked!!!! This Sunday, May 5, worship is at 9:00 am and the sermon is "Big Fish". May 12 the church will celebrate the 2019 graduates. The church's graduates are Ethan, Kayla and Paula. Another month coming to an end. 2 months and school is out, 24 days and it will be Easter. Sunday, March 31, worship at 9:00 am. We will be welcoming 2 new members to the church and a baptism. It will be a good Sunday. Sermon this week is "Boldly Going.....Nowhere". Sunday School to follow @ 10:15am. Remember the church is still accepting donations for the flood victims. You can make checks payable to First United Methodist Church and put Flood in memo part of your check. Enjoy your weekend!

A very busy Sunday at worship, 3/24. United Methodist Women are celebrating 150 years of mission work. Sunday they will be serving cupcakes and coffee and a basket will be available if you want to donate to their Legacy Fund. Also, due to high water levels of rivers that hit the Midwest, our church will be taking special offerings on March 24th and March 30th during worship to help with the disasters this has caused. Please make donations to First United Methodist Church where 100% of the donations will go to UMCOR to help flood victims. Also, this Sunday, March 24, the church will go through the results of the C.A,T, survey that you, the members took. It will be interesting for you to hear. Enjoy your weekend and week!

The soup supper is still on for tonight, 2/20 serving 4:30pm to 7:00pm. The homemade pies are smelling like heaven!! This is a free will donation and take outs are available. Soup by the jar is only $8.00. Have a safe day.
